About me

Professional Yoga Instruction

I remember my first yoga class in 2007 very well. Immediately I loved it and the calm, gentle, non judgemental vibe. I honestly felt more at home and ‘in tune’ with my body than I could ever remember. I loved it! I continued to practice sporadically over the next few years until I had chronic back pain in the summer of 2015. I started to practise daily at this point. The physical benefits of gentle flowing postures really helped my body to feel more aligned and the pain decreased. I immediately started to notice how beneficial it was becoming for calming my mind and helping me to become aware of the mind-body connection.

In 2017 I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yogacara near Whistler, Canada. This was truly one of the best things I have ever done! My passion for yoga increased and I decided that this was the area I wanted to start working in.
